The slit lamps SL-9900 and SL-9900 Zoom are used to examine the eye and the different parts of it using a top LED lighting (Haag-Streit type) and a magnification optical system. They can be fitted with many accessories, including the applanation tonometers to measure the intraocular pressure.
The SL-9900 and SL-9900 Zoom are Haag-Streit type LED light tilting slit lamp (from the top), designed to observe the eye and its appendices (eyelids and eye contour), from the anterior segment (cornea, anterior chamber and crystalline) to the posterior segment (vitreous and retina), accessible using special magnifying glasses.
This equipment perfectly fits the NIDEK consultation units, for a daily use.
These bio microscope are equipped with a 6° convergent binocular optical system, made with high-precision mechanical parts to offer a comfort adapted to the consultation, with a stable and natural viewing. No increase of temperature, thanks to the LED source.
There are two models of the SL-9900. Both present the same features but their optical systems are different. One model has a classical nosepiece-type magnification system, with 5 different magnifications (6x, 10x, 16x, 25x and 40x), and the model Zoom has a continuous and variable magnification system, from 7x to 30x, for a smooth practice, without interruption of the observation.
The slit lamp proposes different filters, dedicated to different types of analysis: yellow filter for the fluorescein exam, anerythristic filter to view the vessels, etc. Accessing these filters is easy.
A digitalisation set of images and videos can be fitted on the slit lamp. It is connected to a dedicated software, controlled from a computer. It is DICOM and Phoenix compatible. The camera is equipped with a 2 Megapixel CCD sensor to record images and videos with a high resolution (photo resolution 1624 x 1232 and video resolution 1280×960), to save them and to transfer them to an EMR software or to use them to perform the patient following-up and the training.
Many other accessories can be fitted on a slit lamp to extend its clinical applications.

Les lampes à fente SL-9900 sont des dispositifs caractérisés par un système d’observation moderne pourvu d’un traitement de surface multicouche anti réflectif. Ce système transmet la lumière plus efficacement et améliore la résolution optique et le contraste de 20% par rapport aux autres dispositifs équivalents.
Ces dispositifs sont dédiés à l’observation microscopique de l’œil soumis à la lumière de la fente, à la microscopie du corps vitré postérieur (avec loupe d’Hruby), à l’observation du fond de l’œil et à l’évaluation du positionnement des lentilles de contact. Le dispositif avec son logiciel, permet une acquisition manuelle guidée et une gestion des données du patient et la possibilité d’effectuer des personnalisations de recherches et statistiques.
Informations de bon usage : Dispositifs médicaux destinés aux professionnels de santé. Ces dispositifs sont utiles à l’ophtalmologue ou à l’opticien (dans le cadre de leurs compétences professionnelles) pour effectuer les analyses spécifiques en ophtalmologie (examen bio-microscopique de l’œil).
