The LT-980 is an independent 3D plotter. Its unique 4-axis mechanism makes possible tracing any frame, including the most curved ones. It is compatible with all the edgers and blockers of the NIDEK range.
The LT-980 is a 3D plotter integrating a unique 4-axis mechanism to perform the digitalisation of frame shapes over 1,000 points. The shape and the tilting angle of the probing stylus make possible performing a smooth tracing, remaining square at the bottom of the groove. The pressure on the stylus has been optimised to perfectly adapt to the angles and the shapes of current frames. It is made from a stainless material for a better durability.
Its set of slant fastening clips applies a pressure on the frame to fix it and to prevent it from deforming or being crushed, thus providing a more accurate result. Both upper and lower guides completely closed down on the tracing mechanism to protect it from dust or from any foreign bodies when it is switched off.
Thanks to its support of gauge and demo glasses, you can capture the glass shapes of Nylors or drilled frames. The LT-980 is equipped with a built-in storage case to store all accessories required daily. As it is compatible with the protocol OMA/VCA, it can communicate with all the glassmakers, about remote trimming.
Compatible with all the blockers and edgers of the NIDEK range, the LT-980 plotter is the essential starting point of any quality assembly.
